JB Marks Municipality is now running attendance, leave and overtime on GovHub. Every department writes to the same employee record, so a shift captured on site is the same shift finance sees at the end of the month.
Before the rollout, each department kept its own register. Reconciling those registers against payroll was manual work that had to be repeated every cycle, and any correction had to be applied in more than one place.
The next phase extends the same record to study assistance and acting assignments, so the approvals attached to those benefits are auditable in the same place as everything else.
